Born in Easton, MD, a small town on the Delmarva Peninsula.
I was lucky enough to meet all of my grandparents.
Played soccer, baseball, and lacrosse.
Found art, drawing and creating to be a good escape.
An old man told me to smile or wave to every one I see, because you don't know who's life you may brighten up that day and you might just save them from a moment of misery.
When I was 13 I got a job at my uncle's hardware store.
Sailed around the Chesapeake Bay and again in the Florida Keys.
Moved to California in 2004 and miss the thunderstorms back home.
Traveled to England, Amsterdam, Paris, Cabo San Lucas, Peru, Tahiti, Eleuthera.
My wife Jenny and I have a son who makes us very happy.
Now we have another son who also makes us happy and makes our family whole.
I've learned along the way:
Try to gain better perspective.
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
The early bird gets the worm.
There are 2 other meals in the day, if you are lucky.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
It's better to have loved and lost than to never love at all.
Life is too short.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Try not to use the word "I" too much.
